In March of 2014, I applied to the UK-US Fulbright Exchange Commission for an opportunity to study in London for three weeks in July. Surprisingly, and in major part thanks to the help of my friends, family, and expertise from my coworkers at the Peer Scholarship Advisors office at the College of William and Mary, I was accepted into this institute.
I expect this to be a wonderful opportunity as I have never left the United States before, and amazingly, the Fulbright commission is offering this opportunity with all expenses paid, travel, accommodation, and food included. The name of the course I will taking at King’s College London is ‘Theatrical London’. I was told that it intends use ‘the streets of London as a classroom’. I will be staying in the Stamford Street apartments, practically in the center of London proper. I couldn’t be more excited or grateful.
